Founded in May 1994, after taking inspiration from her own mother who worked as a dressmaker, Fiona started A1 Alterations from the ground up. Starting her business first in Carillon City and then moving to the current location in Trinity Arcade in 2021, A1 Alternations has been part of the Perth CBD landscape for over 30 years.

Fiona credits the longevity of A1 Alterations to 'good old-fashioned service' and a genuine love of fashion. She has seen the business evolve a lot over her 30+years and is enjoying a resurrgence in men's fashion, with a lot of beautiful suits coming through the door.
