Five years ago, Neil and Zac commenced their adventure into the art of coffee making with the opening of Mo Espresso in Trinity Arcade. The location is a perfect blend of heritage and hip. For them it feels like home with a passing parade of regulars, fresh faces, first time tasters and the other Trinity retailers who are part of their extended family.
Starting out, they were not your typical coffee aficionados but their love for the bean is at the heart of everything they do. The name Mo has been in their family for over 20 years and was the perfect name for the venture. Like any great urban legend, no one knows the true meaning or origin of the name, but that’s what keeps things interesting.
Mo opted to grind Five Senses Coffee as they both share a passion for coffee, and a mutual respect for the bean. As a West Australian family-owned business, the coffee roasters have a great ethos that fits with Mo’s mission - to share consistently great coffee with friends.
Supporting their partnership with Five Senses, Mo continuously source coffee from the best roasters in the world (Loaded, Mano a Mano, Mecca, Colonna) along with the best equipment (Synesso, Marco, Mazzer, Mahlkönig) to ensure they consistently produce the best cup of coffee for their customers. At the end of the day, when you focus your passion on doing one thing really well, the results speak for themselves. That is exactly what Mo’s coffee tastes of.
